The day brought together players, fans, and some “Littles” from BBBSLI, all sharing in the excitement. With an RJ Barrett-signed jersey raffle, a catered lunch, and MVP awards for our champions, the tournament celebrated community and supported BBBSLI’s vision of helping all youth achieve their full potential in a way everyone could feel.
Tamir Goodman’s Basketball Camp in Jerusalem
At Tamir Goodman’s basketball camp in Jerusalem, Rising Staar teamed up with Athletes for Israel to bring young athletes a memorable experience. Held at the YMCA, the camp featured NBA champion Eddy Curry, who inspired the kids with drills and encouragement. Each participant took home a free Rising Staar shirt, making the day unforgettable. Watching young players light up while working with a pro was incredible. This partnership showed our commitment to building talent and confidence in youth, especially in spaces that help them grow and believe in themselves.
